Images of Birmingham
From two of Birmingham's most prominent independent websites
we bring you 'Images of Birmingham'. This CD-Rom includes a
virtual tour of our fine city in images which includes text
descriptions and easy navigation. You will also find some
short movies and panoramic tours. This CD is not just about
Birmingham, it also tries to incorporate a wide selection of
attractions and places of interest from around the West
Midlands region. We hope you will enjoy this excellent
souvenir. Why bother to take endless photographs of places you
have visited when you can simply browse the CD Rom and view
hundreds of images from the Birmingham and West Midlands area.
Special thanks to all those who have contributed images and
text, the photographers, the teams at

cash by post in GBP, US Dollars or Euro's Version 1.0 Images of Birmingham. Copyright 2002 The making of this CD Rom is as a result of hours of time consuming photography, design work and the dedication of a small team of photographers and web designers from Birmingham UK Com and Virtual Brum. Both independent websites and the photographers involved are not part of some large corporation with money to burn. The decision to combine resources and come up with the necessary funding and sharing of information has created the first such CD Rom for Birmingham and the West Midlands. We have done our best to try and keep the price as affordable as possible. With your help and contribution, by purchasing this CD Rom, you are helping to maintain these two significant websites and allow their continuation and expansion. The servers alone now cost 2500 per annum to operate and the daily download transfer from both websites is a massive 900MB per day ! We are pleased to be working together with Birmingham UK Com and would recommend that you take a look at their website. Between the two sites we have just about everything covered.
