It gives a good illustration of how Birmingham has changed over
the years showing that many pubs have now long gone or the original
buildings replaced together with their original names and usage.
It updates the reader on a particular aspect of our ever-changing
history.
Featuring 380 high quality black and white photographs, many of
which can be enlarged for framing if required, this book should appeal
to any one with an interest in Birmingham; its buildings and its
people and social history.
In an emotive foreword by Professor Carl Chinn, he raises the fact
that "Time Please" is being called on many of our pubs
throughout the city and that via this book "Time Please"
will ensure they are not lost from history.
The book will published on November 15th ISBN 0 9543913
